Choose the bag size according to specimen type and volume:

The 100ml size is suitable for small tissue samples, appendix, lymph nodes, etc.; the 150ml size is suitable for small benign masses, ovarian cyst walls, etc.; the 300ml size is suitable for medium-sized cysts, uterine fibroid fragments, etc.; the 500ml size is suitable for medium-sized uterine fibroids, larger cysts, etc.; the 550ml size is suitable for thicker fibroids or slightly larger tissue masses; and the 750ml size is suitable for large-volume specimens, such as larger tumor masses, etc. The large (1000–1500 mL) for bulky specimens such as fibroids or spleens. Proper size selection of the endopouch retrieval bag helps minimize operative time, maintain visualization, and reduce the risk of contamination or port site trauma.
