Instruction for Use

• This stapler should not be used for aortic or vascular anastomosis.

• This stapler should not be used for ischemic or necrotic tissue.

• Before firing, the tissue thickness should be carefully evaluated. If the tissue cannot be easily compressed to the height of the closed staple or can be compressed too easily to a height less than the closed staple, the tissue may be too thick or too thin for the selected staple size, and therefore, this staple size should be avoided.

• Patients with inflammation, mucosal edema, thickened muscle layer, poor healing ability, suspected residual cancer tissue at the cutting edge, or severe muscle layer damage should not use this stapler.

• This stapler should not be used in any conditions of surgical anastomosis contraindications.

• For patients with narrow esophagus or thin tube wall muscle layer, there is a risk of tube wall rupture when placing the anvil.

• Patients with suspected residual cancer tissue at the cutting edge of the esophagus or severe damage to the esophageal muscle layer should not use mechanical anastomosis.

• A second mechanical anastomosis should not be performed in case of initial mechanical anastomosis failure.
