Victor Medical Attends 2024 China Obesity Congress (COC2024)

On August 17th, the 3rd China Obesity Conference (COC2024) on "Unity, Collaboration, and Innovation" kicked off in Beijing. This conference is jointly organized by the China Obesity Alliance, the National Clinical Research Center for Digestive Diseases, the Weight Loss and Metabolism Specialist Branch of the Beijing Medical Association, the Guangdong 21st Century Education Foundation, and relevant academic organizations. It is hosted by the Department of Weight Loss and Metabolism at Beijing Friendship Hospital affiliated with Capital Medical University and the Endocrinology and Metabolism Department at Peking University People's Hospital. At 62 academic forums, 425 top multidisciplinary experts from 10 countries and 6 key disciplines shared their academic views, and over 1200 experts and scholars attended to discuss weight management strategies.

At the conference, the China Obesity Federation (COF) signed contracts with the World Obesity Federation (WOF), the Greater China Alliance for Weight Loss and Metabolic Surgery (GCMBSA), and the American Society of Metabolic and Weight Loss Surgery (ASMBS) to deepen exchanges and cooperation with an international perspective and empower China's practice with cutting-edge concepts.
