On August 17th, the 3rd China Obesity Conference (COC2024) on "Unity, Collaboration, and Innovation" kicked off in Beijing. This conference is jointly organized by the China Obesity Alliance, the National Clinical Research Center for Digestive Diseases, the Weight Loss and Metabolism Specialist Branch of the Beijing Medical Association, the Guangdong 21st Century Education Foundation, and relevant academic organizations. It is hosted by the Department of Weight Loss and Metabolism at Beijing Friendship Hospital affiliated with Capital Medical University and the Endocrinology and Metabolism Department at Peking University People's Hospital.
